FIRE SEASON IS UPON US!!!

So, I'm pretty sure I have informed most of you that Adam is in California fighting fires. He has sent me a couple of pictures, and I just had to share.... The poor boy hasn't had a shower in a week... (Not that he's all too concerned about that. Haha)
Gotta love that smile. And his curly goatee.

You couldn't tell that the Mohawk was gone in that first one, could ya???

The white down at the bottom of his legs is actually his skin. This is the part of him protected from the dirt and soot by his socks and boots...
Legs again...

He sent me this picture of his dirty hand and told me that he doesn't wash his hands before eating... Haha. And then proceeded to tell me that he wonders if he will get an STD from the nasty Porto-potties they have to use. (He does wash his hands... He just likes grossing me out... :))

Bless my poor husbands soul... This is his life in the summer. Good thing he likes what he does. :) And all because of him, I get to do what I love to do. I love him so much. He's not used to the timber fires the way they are out there.... From what he tells me, it is all quite different from fighting desert fires. Keep him, his dad (He's out there too...), all the other firemen and the peoples who's homes and lives may be in danger, in your prayers. Tis' the season for fires, and it has only begun....

Ok, you win. I guess I don't have it to bad. I really will pray for Adam. I remember when Devin used to go on fires and then when he would come home he would tell me all of these crazy stories....I hated it, and seriously they don't pay them enough for what they go through. I am defiantly not man enough to do it.

Hi Tone! Your husband is a true hero for doing what he does! He risks his life everyday fighting those unpredictable fires. You two are a match made in Heaven! Call me if you get lonely, please! I would love to go do something ANYTIME! Oh, and I love my hair (as always) and I had a blast at my reunion!

PS. I LOVE YOU MORE!
