Adam's Surgery...

Let me tell you all a little story... When Adam was 17, he was coming home from work. He worked at Fosters Steak House up in Bryce Canyon. He was getting a ride home from a friend. They were coming down the mountain in a Geo Metro.... And one of the turns was a little much for the car. They rolled the car, and amazingly they walked away from it. (I'm pretty sure Adam is invincible at this point..) So, the years go by, and Adam can feel that there is a rock, or piece of glass, SOMETHING, in his elbow. And it keeps moving around. Finally it moves to a spot where if he rests his elbow on anything it hurts. So, I called and made an appointment with the doctor. I told them that we needed an appointment to get whatever it is out of his arm. They made the appointment for 2 weeks later, then they called the next week and said that the doc won't be there that day, so they have to move the appointment a week. WE go in for the appointment, and do they take the thing out?? OH NO!!! Adam has to wait another MONTH!! Cause that is the soonest that he has enough time to do it.... What the.... In any case, the piece of glass, as we found out that it was, is now out. Apparently a calcium deposit pocket had formed around the glass, so it wasn't easy to get it all out. Needless to say, Adam's arm hurts real bad. He got 4 stitches, and a huge bruise. Here are some pictures in case you want to see it. :)

Here are his fun stitches. You can't see it very well in the picture, but he's got a nice bruise that goes with it... It's a deep one...
Here is the piece of glass that was in his arm, and just so you can see it to scale below it's next to a quarter. :)
And to think that you can live with a piece of glass in your arm for 8 years and not get any sort of infection or anything.... WEIRD!!

So, it's Easter Sunday... This is one of my many holidays alone. Don't feel bad for me. It's ok. I'll be fine... Tears... Haha. Just kidding. I get to go be with my sister and her family, so I am excited. And you all know that means I will most likely have some pictures for you.... Most likely at least.

I had to teach the Young Women today. It gives me anxitey. For real... At least there are only 4 of them. And 3 leaders... Well, 4 leaders including me. We better watch out or we will out-number them soon. YIKES!! My lesson was NOT on the atonement, but the rest of church was. And I am so grateful for that. The atonement means so much to me. For every mistake I have made and will make and every pain I have felt and will feel... It's so comforting to know that I won't ever go it alone. Christ is there for me. And that is all I need. That, and Adam. He keeps me young. :) I love him with all my heart and I am the luckiest girl on the planet. There is noone else like him, and I got him. MMMmmmm.... Yeah, I'm lucky. It's weird how every holiday makes me realize things like this. Why can't it just be a normal day??? Like Wednesday??

Well, I love ya all. and HAPPY EASTER!!

So.... The funniest thing happened to me today. I got out of bed, got ready, and as I was about to leave the house, I looked up and Adam was watching a St. Patrick's Day parade. And that's when I realized how awesome I am... I was wearing green on this oh so fabulous holiday (if you can call it a holiday...) and I didn't even think twice about it. Hee hee. :)

A day in the life of us and the Bro's Fam... Beware... It's scary!!

Adam and I decided to drive down to Cedar City, St. George, and Panguitch this weekend. Sadly, I only got pictures from when we went to my brothers house, but I must say, we always have fun there. Here are a few pictures to give you all an idea of what goes on in one day with us.... Well, PART of what goes on...
We chat...

We chill.... And my brother likes to give me the bird. EVERYTIME the camera comes out to play..

My brother shows me how to take "up the nose shot" pictures of myself.

We eat ARTICHOKES. Yes, this happens everytime we are together.

Darrell takes a gagillion pictures of himself... AND the TV. Sadly, these are only some of my favorites. Not all of them. ;)

The kids pretend like they don't want their picture taken, but Darrell tricks them. In the last picture Darrell tricked them by asking who was taller. Haha. And that was NOT the first picture...

I joined a club.

What the hell... Either my brother thinks he's 12, or he has one hairy butt cheek. :)

And then we drove home...
As you can tell, Adam doesn't let me take pictures of him, but he wants me to keep up on this blog. So, here's to you my love.
Needless to say we had a lot of fun. We did even more over the weekend, but as you can see, these were the highlights. :)

Tagged!!

Ok, I have been tagged before by Anika, and I didn't do it, but now I got it fro Jen too. This one is shorter though, so I'll do it. Hee hee.

FAVORITE PAIR OF SHOES- Hmmm... Probably flip flops. Or anything comfy. Slip on ones:)
NEW YEARS RESOLUTION- I totally didn't do one this year. I always say I am going to eat healthier and exercise, and then I don't, so I just didn't even say it this year.
WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW- CSI is on in the other room. Needless to say Adam is NOT home tonight. He despises CSI.
IF YOU HAD $200 TO SPEND ON YOURSELF WHAT WOULD IT BE- Clothes. I'm obsessed. I can't even go to the mall cause I'll want to buy everything.
RANDOM THOUGHT- Isn't it funny how when you are window shopping, and have no money, you find MILLIONS of things to buy, but when you have money designated for shopping, there is nothing?? I hate that.
FAVORITE PLACE TO GO IN THE CITY YOU LIVE IN - The mall.. Haha. No, my house. Let's be honest... I live in Orem....
THE BOOK YOU ARE READING - I should really start reading again cause I have nothing to put here. :)

And I am tagging Anika, Amber and..... Michelle. :)

Going to the shooting range

So, Adam and I both had Friday off of work, and I wonder if you all can guess what we did… Come on… I know you can do it.. That’s right!! We went and shot guns!!!Adam seems to have some sort of new obsession with guns. He's always liked them, but now it is the only thing he wants to spend his money on, and all he talks about is the next gun he is going to buy. Many of you may already know that he bought me a 38 revolver last fall. I shot it once, and that is it. It is too powerful. At least that is my excuse for not being able to hit not only the target, but the paper all together. Haha. Well, a few weeks ago he decided it was time to get a gun for me that I might be able to shoot. He got me a Beretta 22... I have no idea what the numbers mean, but the gun is cute. :) And I like shooting it. I can actually hit what I aim at too, so that's good. Here are a couple of pictures of my target.

And for your viewing pleasure, here are a couple of pictures of my finger after it got pinched in the gun... Cause that was awesome. Hee hee. I also had a casing fly out of the gun and land in my shirt. By the way, in case some of you haven't seen the CSI where they bust the lady based on the casing down her shirt thing... IT BURNS LIKE CRAZY!!! Those suckers are HOT!

Go ahead, look really close. You'll see the damage. Haha. I hate our camera. It makes my injury look SOOOO insignificant.

Well, that's all I've got for now. TTYL!!! (That one is for Shane)

Hair Pictures...

I know.... This took me forever!! You try getting Adam to let you take a picture of his hair. It is actually almost quite impossible. But here it finally is. And now he wants to go shorter. :)

This is the hairball that was on the floor when we were done. :)

Adam took all these pictures of himself cause I got mad that he wouldn't let me. Hahaha.
