JASON MRAZ CONCERT

So we had a little girls night and went to the Jason Mraz concert last night. I have loved him for years now, and this is the 1st time he has been to Utah. I was SOOO excited! We had a blast.

FRIGHTMARES 2008

So, even though Adam hates every holiday that exists (almost), I love them all. I love haunted houses... Adam refuses to go... Ask him why and he will be totally honest---He's scared. Ha. The only thing I can get him to do that is even remotely festive for Halloween is Frightmares at Lagoon. We went this weekend, and had a BLAST. As always.

New Stuff

Well, it seems that my dear friend Amber is totally unsatisfied with my ability to blog lately... Haha. I guess I have done a few things since last time. There was the Balloon festival in Panguitch.... In June.... Without Adam. That's when he was in California.

Balloons during "The Glow". When it gets dark they don't take off. They just line them all up on the main streets and light them up. Super cool!

And then there was the 24th of July in Panguitch... But I don't have any pictures cause Adam has the camera and I forgot to download them before he left. It was super fun though! We watched the parade on the 24th, and then we had a surprise party for Adam's mom right after. It was so fun! She had no idea!! Then we went camping Friday and Saturday. We had to come back Saturday night cause Adam works Sundays now. We just drove out to Adam's work and I spent the night there.... Can we say FLASHBACK?? We had to sleep in a twin bed. Haha.

And then there was the other night. I know you are all going to be UBER JEALOUS!!! My amazing friend Anika called me on Sunday and asked if I would go to a concert with her. A Chris Issak concert... Haha. Well, I went and it actually ended up being really fun! He is a great entertainer. Other than the millions of middle aged women scantily dressed, (I really could have gone without that), and the young girls slutily dressed, it was a blast!!! Anika bought a picture for him to sign, and after fighting off a few line cutters, we finally got to shake hands with the legend. Hee hee.

That is just about all I've got at this point. Adam is in Wyoming right now for 2 weeks, and he took the camera, so you can't expect much from me. :)

Update

Hello there friends and family.... I don't have too much of an update, but still a little.. Adam finally came home after 16 days away from me!!!! YAY! We had a fabulous weekend in which I took exactly 0 pictures.... Sorry about that. Here is a little update though to let you know some of what went on. :)
On Thursday we went to 7 peaks. Adam had never been. It was pretty fun, but we decided that stuff like that isn't our favorite with just the 2 of us. Plus there were about 10 billion people there. We got in 4 slides, and one lap in the lazy river, in 3 hours... WHAT?? Not worth the $45 we spent to hang there. We did get some really god people watching in though. Boy was it good. Haha. That night we went and watched "Hancock" with our friends Alissa and Zac. Good times. :) And a good movie.

Friday we hung out with Kimmy(Adam's sister for those of you who don't know who she is). We got her a super cool new phone, went to IKEA, took a trip to the mall (where Kimmy ended up looking almost like a hooker after a trip to the make-up counter), then we had dinner at Texas Roadhouse (our favorite!!!), and then crashed!!!

Saturday we had the pleasure of inviting ourselves to go to the lake with Adam's aunt and uncle and their family. We went to Yuba Lake. Adam tried to tell me that is sucks at wake boarding.. He's actually pretty good! I was really impressed! And he admitted later that's exactly what he was going for. Haha. Silly boy... He's already got me, but he's still trying to impress me. Cutie pie... They also have a "BIG BERTHA" tube that we rode on. So much fun!!! We had a BBQ for lunch/dinner. We spent all day out there. The water was amazing, and luckily it wasn't too crowded. It really made for a perfect day at the lake.

And today Adam is back to work. But just his normal Little Sahara work. At least for now. I should see him either tomorrow or Tuesday, so don't cry for me. :) All in all we got in a super good weekend, and that is all that matters to me.
